taipan projectiles

went to buy some .25cal projectiles today and nearly vomited blood when a seen the price !

got some 87gn Taipan HP's for $25.00/100

now ive used taipans in other calibres (.303 and .44) and am familiar with the patchy availability.
what i wish to know has anybody used them in .25 cal (25/06 preferably) and how did the accuracy compare to other more expensive pills ?

when had 6.5 used for target only wasn't bad at 100mtrs but i didnt develop loads back then went maximum charge and it now days use sierras 180gr in 06
