Fellas looks like i may have made ip my mind on a swap for the souper....
I would like some load data for the .222 if you guy's are willing to share. As a side note I would like to keep it fairly flat shooting so what weight pills would you guy's run???
My favourite alround load is 25gr of W748 pushing a 52gr HPBT, but 2207 has worked pretty good for me toopushing 40gr Vmaxs upto 50gr BKs, and as a powder easier to find than 748.
I found 19gr of 2207 with 50gr Remington hp's effective in my 222 rimmed martini, these could be hotter in the rimless version, also same load with 50gr nosler shots, 19.5 and 20 gr with 40gr Noslers were the ticket but only had enough to try so need to pick some more up.
BB if you want to try the Nosler shots or the Remington Hp's I can spare some and send them your way, there not the flattest shooting but the Remington's seem solidly made and were accurate. If you want Flat shooting I think the 40gr Nosler BT has a BC of .221 which is more than the shots or Remington's I have and only .010 or so behind the 50gr BT and Vmax's so the 40's will nail any of the small critters for varminting
HEY I use either 20.5 gns 2207 behind a 52 gn hornady HPBT or 22.5 gns 2206 behind a 55 gn sierra ( ive still got quiet a bit of 2206 left ) these loads shoot a honest inch at 200 out of a sako varmint .
