Just thought I'd run a little poll to see, in everyones experience, which projectiles are the most consistently accurate. This includes bullets fired through all rifle makes, any calibre, etc.

Yeah but there has only been 6 votes and hornady has 3 of them! But I must admit to date the hornady works best for me in the -250, followed by the nosler shots, she just dont like Sierra's, the .308 does though.
I went hornady as the vmax projectiles have shot best from my previous hornet and shoot very well out of my 22-250. Saying that I would like to vouch for the 55gr speer TNT as it matches it with the vmax in accuracy. I just want to use the vmax at the moment.
Nosler seem to be the pick for accuracy in all rifles i have loaded for (22-250, 22 Hornet, 7mm Mag, 6.5*55) Sierras would come a close second. Havn't tried Hornady yet but have heard some pretty good reviews on the Vmax's.
G'Day all,
I have always used the Sierras as a benchmark for testing a rifles accuracy potential. If the rifle wont shoot them, then the rifle is a dud as far as accuracy was concerned and needs work like bedding, trigger and maybe a barrel.
FWIW, I have used hornady as well and can say I haven't found a dud, but the sierra's seem to shoot just that little bit better.
I also have had good results with nos b/t's, but the sierra's seem just that bit better in my .243 and .223, nos b/t's in the .308 but still tuning that. Sierra's not far behind in the .308 either.

Only reload for hunting and haven't tried that many different brands, but the Hornady Interlock shot really well in my first 270, progressed to the SST's which tightend up the groups plus with more consistancy.
They get run in 4 rifles now, shooting well in all, and work great on the ferals in the bush...
