Jeff,

Target 1 looks more like 5 x 2 shot groups mate .. splitting groups, could be a bedding problem.

Target 2 looks to have a fair bit of vertical mate .. again suggests a possible bedding problem.

Target 3 shit ... vertical again, you really need to get that looked at. Also seems to be a bit of windage in that one, we'll call that just a bad read eh.

Target 4 Almost got the vertical under control here mate but No 7 bit you. The windage issue is still not good ... maybe you need better flags.

Target 5 Well finally you got it all together, bit off centre mate, need to work on that. Well after 4 preceding targets I suppose you should have had the condition sorted so probably discount this one.

Summing up .. probably send that rifle off for some work on the bedding, re-examine your loading procedures and technique or just build a better rifle .. you know something with a bit of quality like a trued Rem or Stiller Predator .. try to get a 10 round mag it will save single loading. I hear the Tikka's are pretty good straight out of the box ...

Overall Jeffry, those groups are pretty crap. When you get the T3 action, i'll trade my action back off ya.
While you're at it, those Bibs are shootin like shit too. I'll swap you some SMKs for them. 2 for one.
I'll give you one SMK for every 2 Bibs. I think that's more than fair. Could be that scope too.
I got a great Tasco i'm willing to part with. Now that i think of it i got a great rimfire that i'll swap for the lot.

Jeff,
If you have time in '08 i would appreciate your assistance in adjusting the loads and mabye a quick recrown of the barrel just before a major match .If i get down there or if you make TSV in July would be fine.. Tikka idea is a good one ..i'll remember to work on the vertical with the new Krieger....
No problems mate, I will need some tools though .. angle grinder and 600 grit wet and dry should do for the recrown.
As for the loads I think we should start with some of that surplus 7.62 x 39 ammo, the pills in them a great, so start pulling a few.
See if you can find some berdan primed cases that will fit the chamber .. dont worry if they are a bit undersized the first firing will sort that out ...

cheers
