Hi lee. I have a mate with a Tikka A1 in 6.5 CM that was struggling to get either accuracy or velocity with 2209 and a variety of 140-143 grain pills. He got some Re26 off me and found a working load at 48 grains but of unknown velocity. I searched around a bit and cut this from a US forum
"Interestingly, RL 26 was strikingly benign with absolutely no pressure signs from 46.5 gr. up to a slightly compressed load at 48.1 gr (making stupid 2965 fps). "

Looking at the posts it would appear that Re26 is the powder for a 6.5 CM. At $54 a canister locally (Townsville Gun Shop) it makes it far more attractive than either ADI or Winchester powder which are approaching $60.
Mark showed me his groups with Re26 which i thought were rather ordinary until i discovered they were at 200 meters. All were well under the inch which surprised me also as all those chassis type rifles are fucking useless at group shooting. I always felt it was his gun rather than loads that were his problem. The bullets were 140 RDFs. Hornady cases. No idea what primer.

Here's a picture of the rifle, I have removed the Schmidt and Bender PM2 as the optics were not as good as my March 2.5x25x52
