I hear ya ... but jeez I want to avoid extensive brass forming as much as possible. At least I can get 6mm Creedmoor brass.
Cheers...

What speeds you getting from 75gr-80gr? Just about to drop the hammer on a 22 Creedmoor reamer.

I’m loading some tonight for load dev. I’ll let you know.

P.S. I’m not going to stop tipping more powder in until case head expansion dictates enough.

Or I run out of room in the case.

That is exactly how it should be done!

With that case you run out of powder room before it expands!

I actually got pressure, firmish bolt lift, in my 6x47Lap with Reloaded 15, but
I did get 3850fps with a 67 Copperhead!

I am interested to see how the 22x47Lap goes with 75's.

I ordered a 7 twist 22cal barrel as soon as i saw the new Sierra 95gr smk's with a G1 of 0.600, i had to have a crack.

The decision to be made now is 22 Creedmoor or 22-250AI. Luke has a 22 Creedmoor reamer and Aaron has one in on the way so that isnt an issue. I think the Creedmoor will feed better but ill have a crack and necking a few 6mm CM hornady and 6.CM lapau cases down before i make the decision.

If you google there are guys posting simular velocities between the 22-250Ai and 22 CM but then ther i sno fun in agreeing with them.
