G,day all you 6mm shooters (and everyone else)
I was given a couple of boxes of Lapua scenar 105grn projies as part of a job lot of 6mm stuff that a local benchrester had no further use for. I am wondering if they will stabilize in my 9.5 twist barrel if I run em at about 3100 FPS. 100 grn winchester Power point ammo is the heaviest ive tried and it seems to group OK. Whadya reckon? All opinions appreciated.

You're going to have to give them a fair boot in the arse to get them up to 3100fps. What 6mm caliber are you shooting? If it's 6/250, 6XC, 6/6.5x47 Lapua or a .243 or above you might get there. Anything below that in case capacity and you could be out of luck, or alternately, you might have the bolt heading at 3100fps in the wrong direction
1 in 9.5" will be marginal for the 105gr scenar but all I can say is give it them a test, you might be surprised - just don't try to drive them too fast.
Hello Jump 70
Its a rem 700 in 6MM REM. It pushes 95sst's at 3250fps ok so I thought it may handle the 105 scenars if I can get em to around 3100.

Hey Jump
The good news is the 105 scenars seem to be OK, no better than Ok out of my 9.5 twist barrel first three shots at 100m touching then the fourth and fifth stuff up a truely brilliant group but still under the 1inch mark. 200m come in at about 1.5 inches for five shots. I didnt bother to go all the way to ADIs max of 46.5 grns of 2213sc as 45.4 was pushing 3030fps average and I was more than pleased with the groups.
