Trev, I can't afford it. A brand new donor in 222 is $480.
May I borrow the machball dies for a short while please?
Cheers.

Sounds like a sweet case different enough and very meaningful Glen. Will get those 17s really moving.

Re: A little help please
Do you want the normal dies or the case forming ones or both?

Re: A little help please
Ever since reading about the Javelina I thought it would be a great case in the martini being a touch shorter than the 222 rimmed cases I use now but pack a bit more punch than the fireball / macho 1V.
I look forward to seeing what results you get out of it.
Lots of talk on Saubier the Javelina is a pain to form but with all dies and info around it should just be a matter of a few steps. Dies pretty easy like you are already chasing pretty easy to shorten a 222 die with your experience.
My great uncle was a toolmaker, made his own micrometers etc and still have them and still as accurate as commercial stuff. Pity he suffered from mental health and my brother and I never met him. He fooled around with martinis quite a bit and basically a 218 bee but with the 310 case as a parent. Typically for that era the rifle and gear he had was given or sold.
So understand any sentimental attachment..Ideas on stock or anything yet?
