Reloading bench pictures

Post by tripledeuce »

I thought there was a reloading bench thread on here but couldn't find it, here's mine if anyone is interested. It's a few years old now, but I had a few minutes today to tidy it up a bit and take some photos.

It's inside the house, so started as a ikea cupboard.

I made an insert out of ply, and a sliding workbench from pine with a ply top and bottom. HD lockable drawer sliders support the workbench, and allow everything to side back inside the cupboard. I still need to work on lighting, but other than that it works pretty well.

This is mine, there is also a second identical bench to the left of it that I clean my rifles on, amongst other things.

The other half will complain when you start spreading out with boxes of associated bits and pieces stacked all over it. Looking at the pics, it's already spreading :P

Im with you Scott, and if I ever do manage to clean my benches and put stuff where it belongs, I cant find the bloody stuff again.

If, as they say, that cleanliness is next to Godliness, I must be shaking hands with old Nick.

Mine was tidied for the photo, also in wa we need to keep all the powder, brass and bullets locked up so that's all stored somewhere else.

The cupboard idea was mainly for the old house where the only spare space was in the corner of the living room, the new house has a little more room and things have spread out a little.

Some pretty nice bench's there. Cupboard idea is ideal for neatness and the ability to hide/secure it all.

Taking notes in case I ever get into reloading.
