I bought 100 rounds of S&B from there. Shot 3 or 4" groups in my rifle. Ended up pulling half the projectiles. Reloded the cases and got .7 moa, and no experimenting.

Was googling the other day for 223 and there are great deals to be had in some states. Can't recall exact prices so I won't pretend to recall them.

In Vic, I reckon the Shot Expo will be the best bet for factory ammo. That's where I tend to stock up. This makes me wonder, can I bring a wheeled trolley or similar to get around the Expo while I stock up? Yeh I know, hardly room to move as usual.

Cheapest 223 you will find is probably PPU, last lot I had was a bit over $15/20 obviously going to be cheaper buying in bulk. S&B will be another you should be able to get cheaply.
Grab a box or two of the cheap ammo and see how it shoots in your rifle, it may shoot well it may not. Ive had some rifles that wouldn't shoot better than 4" with some factory ammo and other that went close to 1/2".

Britto did you find your bulk 223 ammo?

Shot Expo is on this weekend, and I noticed Gun Emporium has some really attractive deals on Hornady and some other brands (which may also be cheaper at the show)?

at the shot expo today at the winchester stand

outback ammo 55 grain blitzkings $15 per 20

and i think the 69 grain matchkings were the same price

also gun emporium had some of the 900 round tin 55 grain blitzking osa ammo for $720

both of these are made by adi
just depends if you want it sealed in plastic and in an ammo tin -OSA

or in the normal box ammo comes in and a little bit cheaper for the outback ammo

I bought a some OSA stuff in 223 and 308. Sierra blitzkings in 223 and some different weight 308s to try. Good prices to be had depending on quantity...

where are you at I don't mind giving you a hand reloading some 223 ammo I do about 100 at a time takes a few hours when you have all the prep work done.

223 brass is cheep as to get hold of and if you are just smashing rabbits and foxes 55gr pills are the go with 25grains of 2206H but you can play around a bit to start and make up a few different loads and see what works for you
