So Hows your LGS ammo supplies going?
I've been reading on a few forums about ammo shortages in their LGS (seems like 22 ammo is hard to find in some of them) so just wondering if anyone else has been having issues finding any ammo or reloading components?
Was in the LGS today and they had heaps of 22 ammo and other ammo by the looks of it, 17hmr was running low and no signs of any coming anytime soon from what ol mate said, reloading components were getting harder to find too from what he said.
So how are your LGS ammo supplies holding up?

The stuff I need, they don't seem to have!
22 Hornet cases, 40 gr Sierra Hornet bullets, 6mm Rem cases.
I just got the last of the 45 Sierra Hornet bullets, four boxes, so I could do sub loads with the 223.
The Annie doesn't like 45 pills but the 223 does.
As for .22 ammo I was like a squirrel over the past few years, so I got enough to last for a couple of years....that's if I don't go full retard.

Plenty of stock locally but I'm only chasing normal cals. Prices are up though.

Nioa's prices went up around 10-20% last month. The average seems to be around 12% but some items have gone up more and others stayed the same.

I have had Hornady 55gn Super performance 22-250 on order now for 4 months, my local gunshop tells me that Federal, Winchester(Ballistic silvertip) and Hornady 55gn 22-250 are almost non-existant in Adelaide at the moment and orders have been in for months.

I wonder if the issues down that way are transport related?SA Feral Shooter wrote:I have had Hornady 55gn Super performance 22-250 on order now for 4 months, my local gunshop tells me that Federal, Winchester(Ballistic silvertip) and Hornady 55gn 22-250 are almost non-existant in Adelaide at the moment and orders have been in for months.

At the prices I saw in the LGS this morning, they are either not going to run out of ammo any time soon, or they are going to make a motsa and retire in the next 12 months. 12 bucks for a packet of Winchester powerpoints.
Winny 555 ammo 55 bucks a box.
