Brno 2E loves PMC Zappers for cheap practice and hunting, but I use Eley Tenex in any comp I enter. Last BR30 I came 2nd and also scored a bronze medal for my score Didn't think me or the Brno had it in us.
my OLD stirling P14 likes CCI velocitators shoots about 1"1/2 at 50m but loves PMC Moderator Subsonic shoots under an 1" but hates cci stingers shooting 3" groups
maybe some one could tell me how to bed this thing
I have a Lithgow 22 repeater that is older than I am, it was my Dad's until Johnny made it too hard for him to keep his licence. It shoots amazingly with Winchester Power Points, I have tried lots of different types and most are OK but Stingers and Remington subsonics are probably the worst Target ammo did not shoot as good as Power Points.
CZ 452 2E brilliant got it when they first come out used to use powerpoints but last lot was dodgy lots of misfires so got a brick of winchester lasers and it shoots as well if not better with them.It doesn't like super speed or that ssaa stuff loves remington ammo but hard to get here.

I know this is an old post, but I thought I'd throw in my 2 cents worth anyway. I have a CZ 2E deluxe that has always been happy with Powerpoints but I mainly use the Winchester 40gn subsonics and get .75" groups on average at 50metres. Best shot was 80 metes resting on a fence post at dusk & dropped an unsuspecting hare.
Due to the variation batch to batch with rimfire ammo, I reckon it is a good idea to buy a box or two and if it shoots well in your rifle go back & buy the rest of the brick.
My marlin 925R seems to shoot everything that i've tried well, its accuracy
seems totally unrelated to the ammo, most of which could be used in a
mixed lot and still shoot as well as I can.
Didn't think me or the Brno had it in us.
