Yeah... ummm, not too sure what to make of that one :?
It would be easier to let the guard down and have a laugh at it,
if there weren’t so many impressionable Tools in this society of ours and our chosen past time wasn't under constant scrutiny...
Man that makes me sound old

Yeah, that's why I posted it. I was killing myself at the primer seating with a hammer bit! :D

Saw it posted on the old UK site I used to frequent, and the consensus over there is if anyone's stupid enough to follow the "advice" they're probably too dumb to have firearms to begin with!

Thats just what I needed a no frills way of reloading no expensive presses or stuff just a hammer (have plenty of them) will replace beer with red wine as being in the barossa no shortage :lol:now to get kids to drink milk so I can store the powder we will be set.Now seriously that was fun to watch but wouldn't want to use that round in a gun.It was a good setup, all he needed was to have a smoke while doing it and he would have been right.

It cracked me up and I have not even started reloading yet, but have read uncle nicks guide cover to cover, so I have a vague idea.

I also loved the primer seating with the hammer.

Fair Dinkum! Although it was a pisstake, I was at St Marys a few months ago and asked one of the officers what happened to the window behind one of the benches. He proceeded to tell me that a bloke was in there testing out his new handloads, cant remember the calibre but it wasnt small. Upon firing his first shot, the guts of the bolt had blown out along with the cartridge and showered the place with molten brass and bits of action. As it turned out the bloke had been using shotgun powder that his mate had given him! Another good one was my gunsnith telling me they banned this other tool from their pistol club because when he was reloading he was just scooping the shell into the powder, brushing the top of it off and squeeszing a projectile in it! He said this when he was questioned as to why there was a two foot flame coming from his barrell!

Sounds like we almost have a couple of Darwin Award candidates there? You'd like to think that when mixing explosives and projectiles, people would take some level of care, wouldn't you?
