There you go the answer to "native hunters" question. A pin gauge .2105 in dia. Any other answer is purely personal opinion about what a "loose" pocket is. After all, all pockets start to loosen from the first shot and continue to do so until you decide to throw them out. And buggered pockets do not have to be related to how old or how many times a case has been fired. They can be buggered in a few shots.(trust me) So what is your criteria that makes them junk. Where do you draw the line? Is it the "feel" through a compound leverage priming device. What if your priming tool has a different "feel" to someone elses? Or is it something that we read from a supposed "Guru"? Well in my case i throw them out when the primers fall out. Simple. I'm sure if I had primers leaking from oversize pockets I would junk them too as I'm certain "native hunter" and any body else would do too. But I don't have that problem. And yes of course I have seen my share (and probably a few others share too) of black soot on my bolt faces. But only from a "touch" tooo much powder or too close to the lands as you can see in the above photo. But then technically yes the primer pockets are a bit loooose. And thanks "walking death" I've been wondering where all my load development brass had got to. Suppose you've sold most of it on ebay already! And those marks that look like errosion on that case. I think you'll find they're tool marks from the tool you made me to help me compress the powder into those tiny mongrels! (might have to ackley it) And it won't be Thargomindah you'll be walking back from either. How's running from Cunnamulla wearing a shirt with "I dislike native Australians" (or similar) written on it? Pretty cool I think!!
Happy Shooting

OK that might have been a bit of a 'warm' load
I think we have proved this is a personel preference thing.
And I think we have proved it can be a safety issue.
I have never experienced a loose pocket after a few loads, probably as I have found that the best accuracy is mostly found below the need to belt the hell outta the cases. And whatever you kill with it doesn't appreciate the difference anyway.
Perhaps your RUM is a different animal to any bullet I have used
If you send Walking_Death walking home wearing that shirt I think he might have to change his user name to- Running for_Life
