Andrew I have been using 40 grn V-Max in my 20 ppc and rate them highly.I have given the 34 grn Shots a run as well these shot very well out to 300m and terminal effect was spectacular.
When I had a 204 I tried the shots with 28.5 grains of 2206h.This was a mild load in this rifle but as always start low etc etc etc

I tried them in my old VT when the 40vms wouldnt group. These were a little, but not much, better. Still have half the packet!

I had the same problem when i ran out of 39SBK....but i went down the road of the 32gr Nosler shots. I had my doubts but am actually quite impressed. They seem to hold together much more that the 39SBK and have accounted for numerous foxes out to 300m. I'm currently running them with 29.0gr of 2206H, federal match primers and remmy cases, they group around 0.4'', which isn't too bad considering there was no load development at all.

FYI i just got some 39SBK from Claremont Firearms in Perth (they are actually located in Bibra Lake) and they informed me they have around 30 pkts. Might be worth giving them a ring if your keen.

cheers mate.
