The Wagga Rimfire varmit for score @50 and 100 yards and a 200 yard fly shoot was held on the 1/6/08.
There was about 13 blokes shooting and I came first followed by 12 other blokes
I can't remember my score but I did hit the fly three times.
The wind was between 7-12 kmh from left to right and it was a little over cast. In usual fashion the wind dropped to nothing about fifteen minutes after the comp finished. Some bugger set up on the end bench with a 308 and caught all us rimfire shooters muffless
A good day was had by all.
You can delete this whole post Keith but I will endevor to get the results from the comps we hold at Wagga, and post them up, unless no one is interested. I can post the comps that I go in which is all the RF and CF bench shoots, which is once a fortnight, alternate weeks are Military or leveraction or field rifle, which I stopped competing in last yaer..

Thomo, thanks, I watched Shane Clancy put fives shot in an inch @ 200 with a RF in a 15-20 kmh cross wind
I want to be like him, so I'm gunna wack on a few kilos, get a Hi lux and a parrot and put a grey tint through my hair
oh and practice a lot
adonn, I've been using Fiocchi M320, thats what most of the blokes were using at Leeton fly, I want to try some R-100 when I can find some.
Thanks Wooby.

Say you had your .22 sighted in at 50mtr, how much drop would it have at 200mtrs?
I have visions of all these blokes with there .22's pointed skywards.

About four foot I think Thomo, I had my scope bottomed out and it was still about 18" to low, so I packed the rear mount with three slices of buisness card to give me some more elevation.
I have to see Shane about something more permanant, I was given an adjustable rail (from a generous forum member) that requires some mods to fit.

Oh and don't praise me too much, that was three flies hit from two 10 shot volleys.
There was a 15 year old girl two benches up that hit the fly twice with a sporter weight ancshutz with a 12 power scope, she whipped her dad and about 8 of the other blokes.
