as attached
the long weekend kept numbers down slightly, conditions varied from slightly tricky to ????
this was our 1st 4 target club match which by all accounts was extremely well received.
in future, in the cooler months, we will continue to run the normal 2 target morning match before the bbq luncheon.
then, the option will be made available for those who wish to stay and shoot the 2 target afternoon match.
however, given last weekend's experiences (time/organization factors etc) if numbers exceed 15 competitors ( 3 details) , on the day, the usual 2 target match will be shot, followed by the bbq and presentation..

Dave,
Looks like a Townsville result. Wind didn't like you guys much. Hopefully it will settle between now and August to it's usual gale. Looking forward to catching up with the guys down there again.

g'day jeff
I am hearing you !!
it continues to amaze me how or why a flat range such as ND, isolated from any nearby hilly or mountainous country can continue to produce swirling, snaking and variable pulsing winds ????
maybe it has something to do with the "thermals", the glider mob come here to experience.
anyway, we will have to wait and see what mother nature provides in august
see you all soon.
cheers

Dave,
You might be on the right track there, we see boil coming off the concrete strips for the f class guys. Do you see many gliders in July / August? We cop it all year round, and the change was noticeable when they went from dirt to concrete to shoot from
