well done to Ben and Graeme for taking out 1st in group agg and score agg respectively.

How were conditions?
I was hoping to be able to get there with my new Dasher barrel until work got in the way at the last moment.

g'day rod

initially during the preliminary sighting period, basically, light frost and dead calm.

around 9.30 am the flags began to thaw and flutter due to the building cold south to south west breezes.

as the morning progressed, at most times a fairly consistent 10 to 15 knot breeze eventuated with the occasional slight gusting increase or similar short time period drop off.

strangely, for ND, mirage was hardly noticeable ????

woodsy and ben seemed to handle it much better than the rest of us, as seen by the results.

from memory, all of the NG NS results were due to the change going unnoticed with either a sudden drop off or similar punching increase causing usually only 1 shot to miss the scoring zone.

the vast majority of groups had quite good vertical dispersion but width was a different story.
