Hi Dave,
The winds you had I know all about. It is all we have had up here for the last 3 weeks only from the S-E. with scuddy showers. Looks as if Corryong had the best conditions for the October postal, as Townsville was very ordinary on the 3rd. Or maybe they are better wind readers than the rest of us. Any how I guess we all had fun.
Cheers,
Trevor.

yeah trev

a bit ordinary here today

see http://www.weatherzone.com.au/station.j ... 70&list=ob

we had a target frame shear off in the gusts, kite up out of the butts, and land near the electric fence.(luckily no one was hurt). not to mention the continual taping/repair of the targets as they ripped when the coreflute distorted.

But the positive is, that, as you know, IBS 1000yds BR is still the most satisfying, challenging and difficult LRBR in the world.

cheers

Dave,

You have my sympathy, Our last shoot, TZ was sitting at home in his back yard, anemometer in one hand, lemon squash in the other, watching the wind gust over 50k. Reckons he had the last laugh. Unless you have everything exactly right, keeping them on paper is a major achievement.

I am still testing and building for next July, should have a new stock and rest for the LG, and maybe a new cartridge for the HG.
