Hi Guys
I am thinking of puting a Thumbhole stock on my Savage 204 VLP and maybe my 223 VLP. Richards Microfit Gunstock have a fair range of styles. Has any one tried them? Are they easy to fit and what style do you guys recon would be best? http://www.rifle-stocks.com/

Re: Thumbhole stocks
Depends on your slyle of shooting, do you use a bipod/ front rest for snipeing or spotlighting. It's not exactly a mountain rifle so if you carry it far you'd want as light a stock as posible.what style do you guys recon would be best?
I find a semi target style works well for varminting.
Cheers
Glenn

GJS, I mainly go spotlighting or sniping with a bipod.

I've made some enquiry with Boyd's in the last week. They will not export any stock over $100 due to US govt regs. That limits the choice down to their virtual inlet part (needs sanding & finish).doidge5781 wrote:Boyds stocks are good got one on my howa .223 I spotlight and varmint with a bipod works fine for me
