Interested to know what shooters think about these scopes in the field? My experiences have been very good, especially when spot lighting or shooting in poor light.
I am currently waiting on 8-32*56 to stick on top of my 22-250.

Would be a damn fine unit. Very keen to have a look through a Nightforce.

7mmmag, I've got the next one up (42X) and find the optics great in most conditions, a real fine unit. You won't regret your investment.

G'day 7mmmag welcome to the forum.
Had a look through a night force at the range one day, very nice indeed, what kind of 250 do you use?

The Nightforce scope is the number one pick for L/R benchrest. The majority use them. Why?? The optics are good, the magnification high, adjustments 1/8, and the tracking great! This is what we want in a scope for L/R!
I have two 12-42X56NF's, a Leupold 8.5-25-50 LR, Leupold 45X45 and a Zeiss 6-24X56.
My personal preference is that my Nightforce is better than the Leupolds. The Zeiss is not mounted as yet, but looking through it I think I can say that the Optics are clearly ahead of all the other scopes I own!
If I were to buy a Nightforce for a hunting rifle where I would be changing elevation for different shots, I'd look at the NXS range. The 1/4 adjustments make quicker elevation changes. This is assuming that you are going to be taking long shots when you are talking about a 8-32X scope!
Overall, you will be very happy with a Nightforce. It will make any other scope you use look like it came out of a wheaties packet!
Cheers

Nightforce........hmmmm..nice!
Exceptional quality with brilliant optics, expensive but you get what you pay for. They may exist.... but........I have not heard of a bad one yet
Just a bit heavy at 2.2lbs for a walkabout gun, spotlighting or varminting ..no probs
I read somewhere once..."there are two sorts of scope owners, those using Nightforce and those who are saving for one"

Nice quote Kenny, i believe you may have read that in the scope section of Pete Van Meurs (Pro Cal) price list. He swears by them, and i tend to believe him.

Except for a S&B or a USO but you got to sell a kidney to get one and Nightforce have a new glass coating this year on their smaller 2.5-10 nice strong hunting scope.
