1918 LF&C Trench Knife...

G'day fellas,
Like most within the fraternity I also have an appreciation for knives, bayonets and other military collectibles.
Just wondering if anyone would know where I could source a US made 1918 LF&C trench knife.
I have been after one of these for quiet some time now.
These are the ones that feature the dusters and skull crusher on the pommel.
If anyone has any ideas or has seen one about please let me know by PM.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Regards
Sean

I have seen them on Australian Arms Auctions in the past. None on there for the next aution in May, but I would be keeping an eye on there for one.
I'm not sure if you would need a licence for them because of the nuckle dusters, in Queensland you would.
They are a fantastic looking knife, I would love to own one. I have seen reproductions made in the states, but I doubt you would be able to import one.
Regards.

I had one of those, I think, if it is the same type you are talking about.
They had a steel blade and brass handle, knuckle dusters on the handle, a skull piercing knob on the end of the handle and "US 1918", on the handle.

We got it from our old neighbour, an old Digger, from WW1, he also received a VC, for actions he perform on 4/10/17.
My brother got it stolen, by a "Friend", it was never seen again.
I feel I should buy one, just to sort of, replace it.
Good luck with your search.
