I have the large lee automatic reloading press.

I want to convert it to foot operatgion using a kick pedal out of a drum kit and set it up so it feeds cases through a case prep set of dies.

something like
deprime
fls bump the cases in neck sizing with bushings, polish necks, champher necks and the brop them into a bucket- so I can do the rest of the process by hand- single stage.

primary cleaning will be done by an ultrasonic cleaner and beakers etc- per article.

what order do you think I should process that cases?
what processes do you think I can "automate"

This will be used for .20 PPC, .223AI, 6BR and 6.5x55.
I want to use a differnt turret for each case and exch turret doesn't have to do all or even the same processes as the others.

trying to limit my "stuck at the bench time" so my back doesn't get to bad.

does anyone make automatic- autofeed case prep equipment?

You could prolly use an electric/hydraulic set up to replace the handle motion of the ram....but you would need some one with a lot more brain cells than myself to figure it out

I can see a patent coming out of this.... then you can sell it to one of the reloading gear manufacturers and you will be rich enough to 'pay' somebody to load your shells for you....

Pat I have seen an elec/hydro conversion kit for Mec shot gun presses and from memory it was in kit form and could be used on most popular presses made in the US. I have lost the link (not unusual for me) but you will most likely find it. Not cheap either, from memory.
I know they fit Dillon presses and I think there was a lot of photos showing the units installed on the bench. The time savings on a dillon press were significant. Maybe a dillon wopuld be a better investment I know they are better than the Lee units.

but I already have the Lee press - pete

I'm hoping this one will work on a KISS principle or it's not worth it if I have to start fabricating major parts
