Factory rifles in .303 British????

G'day fellas, besides the typical SMLE actioned military rifles has there ever been a factory rifle chambered in this calibre??

BSA had a good number of bolt actioned rifles.....but Ive only seen two :wink:

Parker Hale built shit loads of .303 sporters on No4 actions. Nice rifles.

there are also Martini factory rifles and double rifles in 303...need i say BRENgun!

I think 1895 Winchester lever actions may have also been chambered to 303British. Getting a modern bolt gun chambered as such would be hard as the rimmed case seems beyond modern gunmakers but Westley Richards I think did do M98 actions in 303British. Wish Ruger would do a No1 in 303British :D .

Right on, Con; ruger did the 30/40Krag in their #3's at one stage, but not 303 as a far as I know.

Winchester did the 1895 in 303 and also the 1885 single shot. Farquarson single shots and Mauser bolt guns by H & H, Rigby and many other English gunmakers were listed in old catalogues. The P14 and Ross rifles were both made as sporting rifles.

Theres a Parker Hale .303 rifle listed in Queensland Shooters Supplies online catalogue. Dunno how up to date that list is though.
