I think i almost had this topic posted on AHN this morning and as it was heading back to the post the server shit itself so thought id post this on ausvarmint!

So what do you guys use? What for? And how do they compare?

All my scopes are Objective focus but a 'shooting aquaintance' brought a Nikko with a darn big chocolate wheel sized focus on the side, even though it's ugly it worked well.

I think the main advantage for benchrest would be not upsetting the gun in the bags as much when focusing....even though it's usually done only when setting up or changing yardages.

And for field use, I reckon it would be just more convenient and quicker.

Next scope I buy will be SF for sure
