Today we went shopping for runners for the 13y/o this arvo in Albury - got them, and on returning through Dean St, Erica said she wanted to have a look in "Adventure Gear".
A small shop with mainly climbing / kayacking / Hiking / "outdoors stuff" however they also seem to branching out in a small way with hunting clothing.

Anyway, I ended up buying this jumper that had been discounted down to $89.99

Feels like good quality "heavy" polarfleece!
That has a bloody good warranty.

Only has the one chest pocket, but zippered.

Good fleece material though:

Goes down over your arse too, my hand is in the small of my back. Will help stop the wind chilling you if your bending over working.

Funnily enough.....many, many, many years ago the photographer at my eldest sisters wedding asked me if I was interested in doing modeling.

You can have the same answer...... GAGF ...... ImageImageImageImageImageImage

A Ford Escort of course, everyone knows that the heaters in a Ford work well.

You’d have liked the heater in my old Mazda 1200. As long as you remembered to turn the tap on under the dash.

No matter which one you meant, the top you bought is probably a lot cheaper...

Speaking of heaters and stuff in cars, I suppose there would be a fair few on here who, like me, remember the days when fancy gadgets like heaters, window washers, radios, cigarette lighters and things like that, were an optional extra in new vehicles, and there are possibly a few who would remember how cold it was in winter time, sitting in a base model Holden EH sedan or similar, with plastic seats without that optional extra heater.

I could not believe that heaters were optional when I arrived in 1974. Being born and raised in Pennsylvania even my grandfathers 41 Dodge had a heater.

The only car I personally owned that had an optional heater was a ‘66 Datsun 1000.

The heater core was almost bigger than the radiator.

My first car was a 1k column shift with a heater.

Love the column shift, except when they are a five speed on a small jap bus (more a case of wiggling the shifter and hoping you found the right gear).
