I use a grip and pull most of the time or for really stubborn ones, a collect holder!

I’ve got a Hornady collet puller as well, just don’t have a collet for what needed to be pulled so reverted to the kinetic version.
Will have to invest in more collets I think. Lol
Think I am on to my 3rd now and grabbed a new set of collets for it a month or two back because the old ones were flogged out.
Still they all pulled over 1000rds before letting go. Havent had one break where yours did, all mine let go where the handle goes into the head. One of them had a serious bend in the handle for a few years before letting go.
If you really want to give them a workout try pulling flush seated wadcutters or cast with a heavy crimp. For me they are the only option in pullers as nothing else can pull flush seated or bullets seated below the case mouth.
Had two break, one the same as Dashshooter and the second like 220"s in the handle junction.
Now use the Hornady collet puller die thingy.(love to have the correct terminolgy refuse to come to the front of my brain.)
cheers
Still got my original RCBS kinetic puller, gone through one set of the grip bits in the top, but its still going strong. Bruce gave me one of the grippy things he made a few years ago, both work well,
