Every one of my target guns has the regular signature rings with the spherical inserts. I have not yet tried the XTR version as I have not needed anything more sturdy than what ive been using.

Nope, as the inserts move inside the rings when you are setting the scope up, after tightening they hold on like shit to a blanket.

Nope, as the inserts move inside the rings when you are setting the scope up, after tightening they hold on like shit to a blanket.

Exactly, the inserts are spherical, so they align themselves and don’t need any lapping.
