Bullet pullers
What's your recommendation on bullet pullers.......or cheap assed RAF solutions?
For an RAF example I pulled a projie the other day with nothing more than masking tape on it, which gave me enough purchase to manually yank it out of the case by hand.

Inertia hammer, a pair of puller tongs made by Bruce, and failing that, a pair of side cutters. ![Very Happy :D](./images/smilies/icon_biggrin.gif)

Re: Bullet pullers
If you want to preserve the projectile a die style cam bullet puller is great. Inertia hammers are good. A piece of cloth and a pair of pliers work as well.

Put it in the chamber and pull the trigger

Re: Bullet pullers
Guys,
Having used everything from fencing pliers to teeth, my advice would be a good collet puller. Don't overtighten it on the bullet and it pulls them clean without damage. Inertia hammers are hell on tipped bullets.

Jeff an earplug in the bottom of the hammer stops the damage ![](http://emoji.tapatalk-cdn.com/emoji106.png)

Re: Bullet pullers
Hi Camel,
I tried that, but it wasn't good enough for the 208 Amax, too heavy and just punched through.

You must have a heavy hand.
Re: Bullet pullers
Nah,
Neck tension too high.

I like the ear plug solution ![👍](//twemoji.maxcdn.com/2/svg/1f44d.svg)
If you don’t want to save the projie remove the die in your loading press, poke the projie out the top grip with plyers etc and withdraw the case- you won’t spill powder everywhere
