Here's a new product for our market. It allows you to screw the barrel in by hand and do up a 4mm hex key and your done. There is a similar product in states but he doesn't want to export. This was made locally and I'll do some testing to see how it goes.

I love you to mate!!
Here is the video from teh WTO guys. I have one of those lugs in transit as well. They will cost more than the locally made one which is a surprise but it pays to have a crack at both. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qjHqB6WMzVM
Seddo i think there would be a very strong case for the use of three set pins, or even two, just simply to remove any barrel miss-alignment from thread clearance. Did you run with the same 1 degree taper lock angle?
The lug is not a clamp, it is a wegde as such so there has to be a taper either on the lug, the barrel shoulder or both and should theoretically never contact the barrel shank. Basically a taper lock with the angles altered to exert axial rather than radial force.

I will be interested to see how it goes, whether zeroes hold well. The rifle I'm interested in trying it on is still running the same 308 barrel you screwed into it Tony but I think it could do with a 6SLR and a short 338 Fed or 358 barrel screwed into it sometimes.
Seddo, what caliber is that barrel you have in the picture?
