borescope ??

im looking over evilbay at inspection cameras.
some go into the phone [no good to me]
some are mac compatible [as above]
what should i be looking for ? to fit 308cal and possibly a windows lappy ?

resolution ?
diametre ?

doesnt need to be water proof or have an enormously long cable.

any informed help is greatly appreciated...

unless you buy one like the lyman that looks at right angles this is all you are gunna see

wouldnt that be adequate for checking bore condition ?
im no gunsmith tac,all i need to know is how much muck is still in there,wear and other stuff.

Once you see it you can't un see it! :D I had a look at mine a while back and most were fine, the 250 had the usual cracks etc around the chamber end but the rest was fine other than the odd bit of carbon here and there but easy enough to remove if it really worried me which it doesn't.

Got a Hawkeye, works great. Tells me when I haven't done the cleaning job right, and when the 75gr of powder has eaten the throat.

I was looking at a layman for shits and giggles...... Over $500 in Australia but around $100 cheaper to get it shipped from the states! I said something on a Facebook page and some bloke pops up and reckons that everything gun related is not considered dangerous and incures a $250 fee for dangerous goods. He he is wrong but it pisses me off to pay retail and postage from the states and sill be $100 cheaper
