Now that is a great design - if it had of been around when I was a pro roo shooter, I would have been very interested.
Ok so I still am . . . a bit.

Hmmmmmmmmmmmm, I dunno, might be ok I spose, but a bit pricy. Not to sure on having the Velcro over the barrel, kinda defeats the purpose of floating barrels. About half as fast getting a shot off as they way I have my Big Iron rest set up, but does have a better ability to shoot at 90 degrees or left handed behind.

Ok so how about a good bit of background / reasoning on that?
The "usual suspects" are out at Yass, so keep those of us who couldn't make it entertained. . .

Mick it's like this....
The Racken Rest
1st problem is that the yoke that the rifle is strapped into is at a fixed point in the middle of the window which allows up and down and left and right movement like a turret however unless your target is in the 80'-130' degree range it would be extremely difficult to make a good steady shot and to my way of thinking the range of motion also needs to include the actual mount to slide left to right in the window as well allowing the range of movement to utilize the whole vantage from inside the cabin.
