17wsm triggers and scope advice

ok iv sorted the pta and done a deposit for the ruger 17wsm going to get the bolt shimmed and org a new trigger not sure wether timly or jard yet your opions on triggers please and the big 1 im after is scopes thinking meopro 6-18x50 what would you recomend for it im going to use it for awhile for foxes rabbits and other pests b4 making the decision on bedding and a new stock all opions be great

Wont comment on the triggers, have no experience with them. Re scope, do you really need to go to 18 power, seeing as that cartridge is only good for around 200m a good 3-9 or 4-12 would do the job nicely, if you will be using it for spotlighting I would suggest a larger objective lens than the standard 40 mm, 50 would be good.

iv decieded on the 50mm for spot lighting mainly and was after a 4x12 but most iv seen are 40mm , so far iv mainly came up with the 6-18x50 but still lookn as not much locally to look at mite have to travel to look at different brands this why after diff brands and size ideas
