sorry guys, this is one of those inside joke threads that annoys Keith.

I was hoping Jason would come along, laugh and share the joke so you could laugh at me too.


I went out for a rabbit snipe with Missed Jason and Adam many years ago and Jason's boring inefficient outdated 223 kept popping the long range bunnies that I was missing with my flash fast and modern 204.

My excuse was that he had a short bipod so his body was supported by the bonnet of the car while I had the longer bipod and that meant a higher shooting position with more wobble.

I thought it sounded like a bloody great excuse.

The guys (especially Jason) thought it sounded like a funny line to poke me with occasionally

I think they were right.

But I finally have a short bipod so no more excuses :roll:
