eBay accident

So I checked out the website link Bimbo posted on his knife build thread and I may have been having some grape juice that night. When I saw the blanks were made in china I was inspired to check out the cheap Chinese knives on eBay. I went thru a knife phase a year or two ago and have a collection of cheap blades.
Ok . More grape juice. Bid is $1.35 so I type in $1.50 and don't go on ebay for three weeks. When I do I have an overdue payment to make including $12 for post! Couple of weeks later the package turns up marked camping cutlery..
I was immediately impressed as it shaved hair off my forearm right away. It came on our Easter camp and held its edge skinning a carcass and taking meet for dogs and yabbie nets.
I was horrified when I found my mate's girlfriend chopping the veg for the camp oven casserole. Hunting knife sharp edges and chopping boards are bad. No shaving after that and I was thinking well that's the end of that then but impressively, a few moments on the steel from Kerriet and it was shaving sharp again.
A new toy that will prove useful.
