Haha maybe! Always wanted to try a tube gun type of thing. I have a feeling that an AR style pistol grip suits my hand much more than the hunting style. These are available for Tikka T3

I might be able to source one from the US if you are keen. 100% on a rem700 one just not sure for a tikka.

They stock a chassis for a .223 and .308 on their website. Did see a YouTube clip of them shooting it but that doesn't prove anything. It is supposed to be a straight bolt in with no alterations required so it if does not suit name I could go back to the original stock. I would have thought that it probably would be no worries re selling it.

But if you keep it just between us, I reckon it looks like it would be comfortable to shoot, and if it helps with accuracy who can argue

I have used one and thought it was quite comfortable and have toyed with buying one for a Barnard.

Felt very comfortable for shooting to me and don't worry bout being called a tactard it just means that some out there are jealous!!

I thought it needed at least 3 rails along the barrel shroud and a black teeshirt to qualify as tactard?

I have my 260 in this one, and another for my M700 223. Everyone that shoots it likes the feel and find it comfortable. I have the rails fitted only for NV gear.
They get very cold at night when spotlighting. No worry's about fitment, and should sell if ya don't like it. I don't give a shit about so called tactical gear. If you like it, and want it, buy it

I have always been partial to the look of a chassis type rifle. Nothing to do with tactical la de da. I just like them better than a more typical hunting type stock. I am not a lover of a top grade walnut stock and stuff that needs round the clock care. But then again I am coming at it from a different angle to a lot of you. Rifles to me are a tool and the more easy care they are the better. I am not a hobby shooter and really I don't care if it looks ugly as long as it does the job and is good to shoot. I reckon when thing improve a bit, I will get one. If it doesn't suit, I will sell on.
