Sinclairs shipping.

Post by Plowboy »

Hi fellas, I am looking into getting a Harrel powder thrower for Xmas from the Mrs. I have been looking into getting it from sinclairs but I want to know how much shipping will be aprox. I remember a few years ago I bought some small things like copper brushes and jags but I cannot remember how much it cost. But I do remember in arrived in a huge box full of packing and the things I order tucked away in a corner. Does anyone know approx how much it would cost to get it from there or if I could get one locally. I wanted to get the Harrell Premium BR measure.

I just placed and order for $467.00, $87.00 postage, with no false promises, I buy quite a bit of stuff from Sinclairs, if they make a mistake they back it up with no bullshit and rectifie the problem. I had a reloading manual which was delivered broken they replaced it no questions asked. If the product you want is in stock you will get it in about 3 weeks if not in stock who knows.

Regards Rolf.

Yeah cheers fellas. I really don't like how they don't tell you how much shipping will cost before you make the commitment to buy.

I am really glad they don't. This way you pay actual cost - if they had to quote up front they would build in a margin for error or charge a flat percentage and you would definitely pay more.

Just put in the comments section that you'd like to know in advance and they should email you.....just bear in mind every US vendor is snowed with the backlog and panic buying, so if it slips through and just ships, don't stress. They are very honest to deal with, and seem to have good shipping rates.

If you know roughly what you're getting, you can estimate size and get a price from USPS - Sinclair's won't rip you off, and you can choose the shipping method.

Yeah I ordered it last night but so far no news on the shipping cost. I did email them and they said it would be around $60. I should have got a few other things but I just plain forgot.

Ok it shipped overnight and the shipping was a little over $52US. I suppose that will be close to $60AUD. The code for the shipping is PP air so I suppose that is priority air so will be interesting to see how long it takes.

I find a week or so is what it takes for the stuff I buy. Depends if Customs want to stop it to 'check' too. Even USPS was just over a week.
