Hello Matang, try these if you have a dovetailed receiver- http://www.bkltech.com/
Strong, relatively light and well made.
Tell us what receiver you are using and you will get more specific info. Cheers.

Its for my new 204R on a Pierce Action. I think it is a nightforce rail. I am going to purchase a swaroski Z5 3-18x44. I might take the rail of and go with tally rings but want to see how scope mounts up with rail first as have paid for rail and its already been mounted up by gunsmith

Hey mate,
Honestly the differnce between "lightweight and Normal" tactical rings isnt as much as you would think, especially when added to the weight of the Nightforce piccy rail and Pierce action.

Look around, buy the rings that you like and take it from there.
I use Ken Farrell rings and bases, all steel. Not particularly cheap - but you get what you pay for.

Have a look at the Badger Ordnance rings.

I just received a set of Max-50-although I don't know if I'll use them as intended.

If you have a contact in the US just import direct from there. You'll save some serious coin.
