Just got the XLR in rem short Please be very careful of the threads
They are very rough and it is hard to mesh them square
easy to cross thread and the thread metal is very soft
SUGGEST Taking mine to the engineering joint today to clean them up before too much damage and assembling
I brought this second hand "new" threads were damaged
Still would have brought the stock design is great !!!!!
JUST BE CAREFUL
