Finding your Brass in Grass - Super Scanner Metal Detector

I found this cheap Handheld Scanner/wand Metal Detector on eBay.au to find my brass in the grass when banging out rounds.
Got mine on auction for just over $10 delivered free :boogie:
It is powered by a 9V Battery in the handle butt.
Easy to use with an On/Off switch for Power and another momentary switch next to it for less sensitivity (to find larger metal objects).
It has and Green Power LED that goes RED on detection.
There is also an Audilble BEEEEEP or Vibration that is selected by a push button.
9V Rechargable Batteries are supported and you charge them while in the unit as there is a 9VDC Socket (Power Adapter is not suplied) - But I probably would not trust it to be a smart charger - as there is no mention of the type of battery charging it can handle eg NiCad / NiMH / Li-Ion
It comes with a belt loop harness for carying and there is also a wrist loop.
The Unit seems pretty solid. The plastic scanner head feels solid and does not flex when squeezed so it should take a bit of abuse as you wave it through long grass etc. The Handle is coated for some comfort in a hard rubber.
I tested it out today with some brass scattered out in the back yard... a few quick phantom beeps, but more solid beeps over the brass.
I pretty happy I can take it into the paddocks now and look for my lost brass!
