GrovTec are the brand you want, they do one that is threaded on outside of cup. Easy install.
Cheers

I just looked up the GrovTec ones.
They certainly look the part.
I just don't think my Tikka T3s or Sako Quad stocks would take kindly to the conversion.
I like the idea of the Flushcap to Stud adaptor. One of them would be good for the bipod.

Missed, did you ever try these?
I see there are plenty of copies on ebay as well. Does anyone have any experince with these type of flush fitting quick detachable sling mounts?
Definately make the rifle sleeker when sling is removed.

Slow day so reading some old threads.

I have them on sporter and varmint type stocks. Both work well shooting off bags, but neither really work with a bipod. The insert studs swivel in the flush cup and it is difficult to get enough tension on the bipod mount for it to be stable. The varmint stock also has them on the side which makes it really nice to carry.
On varmint style stocks, I now prefer an Anschutz rail in the fore end. I have gone back to standard studs on sporters.
