Hi all,

I read about someone praising the Safari sling as providing ergonomic carrying in the field. Anyone got one?

How do you rate them compared to a conventional one?

Hi Wolfred

Took me years to finally source one, I haven’t yet had a chance to use this one yet, but liked the idea when I saw my mates set up several years ago. it’s much easier on the shoulders, You carry your rifle more or less horizontally in front of your torso, and when you lift the rifle to a shooting position the sling falls away, allowing you to shoot whilst still wearing the sling.

Cheers

Interested to hear how it go's. I like the idea of carrying the rifle in front but I am a bit anal about anything touching my rifle barrel even when shooting off hand. If you can do an accuracy comparison for us that would be great.

Thanks Steve
