nevers een it at SuperCheap locally, although they can get it. Repco tends to stock it as a matter of course, its a 1:1 mix which also makes it easier than the Devcon jars with 2 parts to mix. repco will also source JB Weld which can also be used for bedding rifles.
Cheers...

every hardware store sells stuff called kneedit,
its a 2 part putty that you work together into a sticky lump.
it sets rock hard.
i havent used it for bedding, but have used the "kneedit-for plastick" to repair a mini fairing on a bike.fantastic stuff, tuffer than bog.
i tryed using it to stick a polymer stock back together but the plastic putty was too week for that job.
the "kneedit-for metal" would have probably been what i needed.
there is also a "kneedit-for wood" availible.

like bog,if you need to smooth this stuff out or spread it a bit better, licking your thumb or finger will stop the stuff sticking to you and lifting.

i couldn't find devcon on the repco website either (even with the correct part number) if you give your local repco store a call their part number for devcon is S5, i got a 2oz packet on friday $15.50

ITW polymers and fluids is the australian distrubitor, they might be able to put you onto a local supplier (02) 9757-8800

cheers

Selleys Knead-It Steel is a viable product.

The shrinkage of this type of Knead-It is equivalent to Devcon PlasticSteel.

Have a go with JB weld. Its a two part mix epoxy.
Used it on a .338RUM recently and it worked very well.
Available from most good hardware stores.
Here is a picture of it just after I removed the action from the bog once it set. A quick clean up and some cure time and it was ready to shoot.

Note : the overrun up the barrel chanel was removed to leave the barrel fully floating. The blue tape was used to give clearance under the recoil lug.

2 parts epoxy works well but 24 hour epoxy is the best i.e stifest non shrinkable too there stuff called domo for granite works for outside work 1:1 by Volume sets in 24 hours temperature sensetive

enjoy kurch

Megapoxy is available in various size packages (.5 litre containers are quite handy)

2 Part Epoxy - working time 60 minutes at 25 degrees C (longer if mixed on a cold surface)

24 hour cure at 25 degress C

minimum shrinkage -high strength

been using it for roughly 35years -more than happy with it for bedding and other applications.
