I was inspired just to go get my last one out of the bag and shave a few hairs off my arm and slice up some paper just reading the thread!

Just to inspire you a bit, I finally ground this straight boner the same as the one you really liked Trevor. I didn't do a full grind and tried to make both sides different, but actually it came up near the same on both sides. I may have to try and stuff the handle up. Looked for some antler and don't think I have any antler large enough for the handle. If I do put some on I might have to change shape of handle. But if I put antler on you will want it for sure no matter what the price. ha ha

Me too, that's why I am broke and Barry is rich   That knife is exactly the same shape as the one you had, but this one is NitroV stainless. I might end up keeping this one for myself as I hate grinding the longer blades . I have been wanting to make one of my boners for myself, but they have all gone to friends. Gave the last two away as gifts.

I couldn't get enough thickness from an antler so have glued some really nice Beefwood scales on it now and it's drying. Probably show you in a couple of days. Will send you a pm mate :D

Would I be correct in assuming, that you are indeed the "Right Arse"?

I just finished this small skinner. Steel is NitroV and scales were made for me by Ian Allen in WA from some opelised and other pieces of mammoth teeth. Sort of new and old. Pins are one brass and one Mosaic with a brass lanyard holder. Little bit of video in the sun with a shaky hand at the top ha ha.
Thanks for looking

Bit of work on it soon as been playing with the opelised mammoth teeth knife . That one will be expensive if someone wants something different. The teeth and scales ended up costing me around $300, so the knife its self will bring the price up a bit ha ha :D

Ha ha here they are. NitroV Beefwood scales Mosaic and brass fittings. Not making these straight boners any more I don't think, er well might not anyway as they give me the shits.
