Damascus again, this one was hammered out by a mate in Tasmania from 15n20 ad 1084. I hammered it out a bit more and straightened it then ground and drilled then hardened and tempered. Used Mammoth rib bone stabilized in USA. Expensive stuff but hey I bought over two thousand dollars worth so may as well use it.
Finally got it sanded right back and handle finish on. It still has to be sharpened, but waiting for handle finish to get hard first and will then sharpen it. It feels great in the hand and I'm reasonably happy with it.

Did this one in N690 2.5mm thick with brass bolser, Hybrid handle and Mosaic pin etc Quite like it now it's finished I might even keep this one for myself ;D

No stopping you Ted. Some top work in these latest creations. I really like the one with the stabilised mammoth rib bone.
