When you go to the NF section and it says:
Due to Nightforce Policy, all Nightforce scopes are only shipped in the US.
Do they mean, within US or only OUT of US?
I am going to say the first one, but why don't they ship out of it, if so?

Re: New Sightron "Hubble telescope" 10-50X60
Can anyone give a idea of the optical clarity of the sightron scopes, i have heard that they might not be as good as a Nightforce.??

With optics you normlly get what you pay for, I would say that the Nightforce would have better optics and better "tracking" great optics are no good without consistant adjustments.
I have just bought a March 10-60 and it is unbeleiveable.

Yep, the March would absoulutly be a great rifle scope - i dont think anything else could compare!!
And i also dont have $3500+ i pay for one. Since the NF BR series of scopes has now gone up to around $1760, for a sightron 10-50X60 at around $1200 it makes it look quite attractive.!!

I heard Horsley Park sells the new Sightrons for $1500, dont know if anyone sells them for less over here. After looking through Matts March scope, I was very tempted to take up an Indian mans offer to buy my wife, so I can buy a march scope.
Now all I gotta do is get the 80X March and fit one of those optical boosters to turn it into a 110X scope. Then, If I am at a flyshoot, not only will I be able to see that the fly is Jewish, but will be able to see the stiches from the surgery.
Its hard having March tastes and a Tasco budget.

Your not wrong rod, my nikko targetmaster works quite well, not the quality of a nightforce, but I can see the target and it seems to track ok. I think I might go down the fixed power route and get a T24, hopefully a second hand one is around so I dont have to break the piggy bank.RDavies wrote:I heard Horsley Park sells the new Sightrons for $1500, dont know if anyone sells them for less over here. G'Day Al,
just remember those on the firing line use stuff that WORKS! Let someone else spend the $$$$ to prove a product. That's why equipment lists from events are such a valuable resource.
For pure competition a NF12-42 BR model is fine and reasonably priced for what you need.
