The Conquest HD5 has side focus yes.

Yep, the one that is now sitting my 300wm has target turrets and side focus, several others I have on different rifles have it as well.

Hmmm not sure tempted to put a zeiss on the 204, put the vortex viper hs on the 223 and a meopro 6-18x50 on the 6-284.......decisions decisions.....

G'day Mick,

I recently purchased the Zeiss Conquest 6.5-20x50 from Camerland NY for about $750 landed on my door step.

It is a brilliant scope on my .204, great at night with plenty of magnification. It also has side focus.

Grab one, it's definately worth it!

I did in the end get from CameralandNY
AU$997 to my door for a Conquest HD5 5-25x50.

Luckily for me, Erica is a very understanding woman

(so she says

)

Best price I could get in Australia was $1500 plus post.

I went and checked out camera land by but they adamantly stated they do not ship scopes outside the U.S?

How did you guys get around that?

As long as they are not described as tactical or military type scopes its ok, plus they will not export some brands leupold etc

Hmmmmm, this one must be here by now mate, hows about a rundown and your thoughts.
I am in need of another scope for the 22PPC when its finished and am thinking of grabbing one quick before our dollar is only worth 50cUS,

As I said to you on the phone, it is clear, it looks nice - and I like the Z800 reticle.
Its a Zeiss . . .

I don't have it on a rifle as I want to breach its virginity with the .308 Norma, so cant comment on internal adjustment etc.
But I did see a bloke walking his dog on the hill about 700 yards away during a drizzely shitty day - so I am full of hope that it will be a goodun.
