I got an early Fathers day present

Nice very Nice

I like the fact it does not have a Ficken useless Strobe mode,
Also how it remembers the last power setting.
The on/off switch on the back with the output setting switch under your thumb
so there is no fumbling around through 5 settings to go back to where you want to be.

Mine arrived yesterday, I agree with Andrew regarding the memory and no strobe,
shone it on a brick house up the road about 120mtr and would be easily able to
see game at that distance, might mount it on my FX BB gun and give it a go.

Thanks for the review.

Took the two Solarforce lights out a couple of weekends ago to have a go at some rabbits down in the stones. The night was clear and relatively still. Saw a few out and shot 3 at ranges from around 80-150m. The first one I didn't find as a didn't retrieve it straight away and so lost the location.

Shot this one at a fair distance 223 zeroed at 200yds dropped about 4'' so I guess 275yds
no trouble seeing every detail on 10x through the scope using the M9, you can see the POI
on the nose 2'' under right eye, POA was just above head between ears. Shot plenty of other
varmints using the spotlight to locate then turn spotty off and use the torch.
The M9 gets the nod from me no worries.
Cheers

Bruce,
I just ordered a charger and batteries recommended by fen if I was doing the
exercise again I would not have 8 cheap batteries and a cheap charger.
As you can see from the pic I am using a figure 8 type mount as I change
from rifle to rifle.
Once again thanks to everyone for their advice and input.
Cheers

I ordered one of these torches a few days ago on Fenrings recommendation. Looking at the pictures, it has a pretty good light patern.
Where do you get those quick connect torch mounts?
