Just tested it.

Barrel was well soaked and patched several times. Not the slightest hint of copper came out, whereas Hoppes #9 is still showing copper on patches.

Bore Brite may be OK for basic cleaning duties but it's claims of removing copper are highly dubious.

Remington don't even have instructions on how to use this stuff, suggesting it's just a generic cleaner with a brand name stuck on it...

Spray some in and leave it an hour or so, see what happens. :D Don't know the stuff, but maybe its just a rust preventative that is sprayed in the bore after cleaning. :?

Mines the liquid rather than the spray. I left it in for half an hour with zero sign of any copper coming out.

The the ammonia based solvents deteriorate and lose efficacy. I thought the guy in the gunshop was having a lend of me when he told me not to shake sweets. It lets the ammonia out. But it even says not to shake on the bottle

Just using what I've got because I have no choice until the gun shops reopen.

Yes, I'll get some Gunslick.
