I have just ordered a Rossi 357 mag rifle and need advice on what scope and bases to put on it.

Yeah I had a red dot on mine, but I ended up prefering iron sights (ghost ring) as it grouped like a shotty anyway.

Personally I would think a 3X9 maximum. Plenty of choices around. Enjoy the new rifle.
